10mm Brass Insert for Soft Copper – Pack x 10

When making compression joints in a copper oil line it is essential that a tight seal is made without the pipe olive crushing the copper pipe, otherwise an oil-proof connection will not be achieved 

To prevent this from happening, insert one of these inserts, manufactured from brass, into your 10mm copper pipe before proceeding with the connection. Press the insert into the open-end of the 10mm copper pipe and this will prevent the pipe from deforming when tightening the compression fitting. The use of these inserts in soft copper is recommended by OFTEC.

NOTE: These Inserts are NOT suitable for use with Qual pipe or other plastic pipes
