The Fire Resistance wall sets are constructed with high quality mineral wool insulation sandwiched between steel sheets, coated with an attractive juniper green finish.
We offer a wide range of standard sizes which can be found on our website. All of our panels have a 30 minute fire rating and can be used for Oil, LPG & bulk fuel storage. If any of our standard sizes do not suit, please reach out as we can offer bespoke sizes which are made to order.
A 30-minute fire rated barrier is required where oil storage tanks of less than 3,500 liters capacity serving single family dwellings are sited:
- Within 760mm of a combustible boundary
- Within 1800mm of a combustible wall of a building
- Within 1800mm of an opening in a noncombustible wall (door, window, flue, etc.)
Fire barriers conforming to the 30-minute fire resistance specification required by Building Regulations are normally supplied in modular kit form. For 30 minute rated domestic barriers, the barrier must overlap the tank by 300mm in each direction
