Description
O.L.E. T4000 Day Tank Controller – ACC.DTC.OLE-T4000
Purpose
Day tank controllers are used to control the level of fuel in day service tanks or generator day tanks (they’re the same thing).
A day tank controller enables the level of fuel in a day service tank to be automatically maintained by controlling the supply of diesel fuel from a separate and larger reservoir of fuel nearby i.e. from a generator bulk tank.
How it works
The low-level input into the controller starts a separate pump. The controller keeps that pump running until the high-level input is triggered. In the event that the pump fails to start the low low-level input will trigger the audible alarm & signals to a BMS system if connected via volt free switch.
In the event that the pump fails to stop pumping the high high-input will trigger opening the pump relay, audible alarm sounds & signals a BMS system if connected.
Other features:
- Controller relies on 4 inputs used for pump control & fail safe.
- Pump relay is 240V, 6A rated.
- Power supply can be 230V, 110V or 24VDC.
- LED indicators change colour to indicate status of system.
- Uses up to 4 x float switches not provided (B8) which come with a 1” BSPT M tank fitting.
- Can be connected to our O.L.E. T5020 tank gauge which must have relay boards fitted (R5).
- Suitable with diesel, biodiesel, AdBlue®.
