Electrical Installation Fuel Transfer Equipment – SER-ELEC

This service is arranged and overseen by Atlantis Tanks before delivery of the tank. It relates to the electrical installation of control panels for fuel transfer and/or conditioning equipment inside the confines of the tank compartment.

Our service saves time for clients by pre-wiring of all electrical connections prior to delivery. Power generation projects are usually quite complex so our service eliminates a key project management stage for clients.
This service applies to all scenarios, whether fitting 1 or 2 control panels. It means that the fee is applied only once.

Electrical Installation Pack | Time lapse video explained

The video in the image gallery section of this page shows 6 hour’s of work spent fitting accessories into a generator bulk tank security cabinet, compressed into less than 2 minutes.

In the video, an 84,000 litres bulk fuel tank was fitted with fuel polisher and pump alongside the optional electrical pack. This improves our service to power generator clients because it avoids the need for them to mount electrical boards and wiring as a separate post-delivery exercise on site. The electrical work complies with BS 7671 | 18th edition Wiring Regulations. The completed tank will help to protect Britain’s critical infrastructure against interruptions in power supply.
Some of the equipment fitted inside the security cabinet during filming:
– A 50LPM duplex pump & control panel with two centrifugal pumps.
– A 240v alternating pump set control panel designed to work with client’s generator day tank/belly tank float switches for auto fuel transfer.
– A 230V 100LPM fuel polisher & control panel

When the urgent need arises for a next day delivery, you can count on us! If our own transport is not available to provide this, we will use a third party carrier service to ensure your order is delivered next day through the UK mainland. Orders must be placed before 12pm to achieve this
