Description
3:1 Air Operated Oil Pump and Air Regulator (hose and nozzle not included) – PUM.AOP.3:1-BARE
This air operated pump kit has been specially designed to work with our new Imperium® Lube Oil Tank range
Description
This pneumatic oil pump is designed and constructed to give outstanding performance in all workshop environments. and is suitable to cover every type of application in the automotive, agricultural, commercial vehicle and heavy plant workshops.
Low noise level air motors are used that will provide years of trouble free service. Typically used in workshops, service stations, fast lube centres, fleet maintenance, mining, agriculture, armed forces, construction, trains, etc
Please note that this kit requires a compressed air feed hose and connection to operate properly
What does a 3:1 ratio mean?
This means that the pump multiplies the air-input pressure by three to create fluid-output pressure, so an air supply of 100 psi will result in a fluid output of 300psi. This ratio is determined by the effective area of the air piston compared to the fluid piston.
Application: A 3:1 ratio is suitable for pumping low to medium viscosity fluids over longer distances. It is often used in workshops for transferring oil or other fluids to multiple locations.
