The Benefits of Portable Fuel Tanks
Your business relies on vehicles, generators, plant and machinery being fuelled and ready to go. Managing refuelling needs and logistics can get complicated and requires careful planning to avoid downtime. Running out of fuel on site or having to waste precious time travelling to a static dispensing tank to refuel is costly; not to mention damaging to your company’s credibility if you’re working on a customer’s site.
Why you Need Portable Fuel Tanks
The solution to on site refuelling is a portable fuel tank. Take the fuel to the engine, not the engine to the fuel! This can save time, prevent delays and ensures that your operations run like clockwork.
We stock PortaFUEL portable tanks. You can read more about our PortaFUEL range here.
Our Portable Fuel Tanks
We have a huge range of portable fuel tanks in stock – and we can even make custom sizes and configurations to order if you have a specific requirement outside the scope of a standard capacity or shape.
Steel Portable Fuel Tanks
The clever design of our steel portable diesel tanks makes the transportation of fuel headache-free. They’re made of 3mm steel so are incredibly robust. We have a standard range of steel portable diesel tanks between 440-litres and 3000-litres.
We even have a diesel tool box portable tank that you can use to store 630-litres of tools and equipment in a lockable safe compartment, which is located in the top half of the unit. This tank is designed to be fixed to the headboard of a dropside or flatbed pick-up or van.
Our steel portable fuel tanks have complete ADR exemption, as described in section 1.1.3.1c of the ADR standards and UN approval. This fulfills the requirements of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, dated 01 January 2005 (ADR 2005) This means that they are suitable for the transportation of diesel on UK roads and highways.
Plastic Portable Fuel Tanks
We also stock plastic diesel portable tanks with innovative features to make transporting fuel easier than ever before. Our Pollicubes are made from strong polyethylene. Their robust construction makes it easy for them to withstand challenges, such as being transported around your construction site on the back of a pick-up!
Our Pollicube plastic portable tanks are popular with a wide range of industries across the UK thanks to their practicality and performance. We stock the Pollicube 230-litre and Pollicube 440-litre.
