R5 Relay Board | ACC.GA.OLE-R5

This is an accessory for O.L.E. T5020 Tank Gauge. It fits inside the T5020 housing and is used to provide volt-free contacts for devices such as external alarms. The price includes the fitting charge to install the relay board inside the T5020 gauge.

What the R5 Relay Board Does

The R5 Relay Board adds five volt-free (dry contact) relay outputs to the O.L.E. T5020 tank gauge. These relays act as simple on/off switches that the gauge controls when a tank condition is met (high level, low level, bund alarm, water alarm, etc.).

The board does not output any signal itself — it simply provides clean relay contacts you can wire into external devices. In this way, the R5 lets your tank gauge trigger things — sirens, beacons, pumps, shutdown devices, remote panels, etc.

When Customers Need the R5 with their T5020

Order the R5 if you want your tank gauge to control or trigger external equipment, such as:

• Audible/visual alarms (siren, beacon, external sounder)
• Pump control or cut-off devices
• Remote alarm panels
• Any third-party device that needs a dry-contact signal

The R5 is also required when pairing the T5020 with certain accessories (e.g., day-tank controllers) that rely on relay signalling from the gauge.

When You Do Not Need the R5

You do not need the R5 if:

• You only want the gauge’s built-in display and internal alarm.
• You are integrating with a BMS — the T5020 already provides native 4–20 mA and Modbus RS485 outputs, so the relay board is not required for BMS connectivity.
