Tank & Bund Construction

The TAN.GBI-1853 features a double-skinned design, comprising an inner primary tank enclosed within an outer bunded tank. This configuration provides 110% containment of the total liquid being stored, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safeguarding against potential leaks.The tank is constructed from heavy-duty structural plate steel to BS EN 10025-2:2004 S275JR, incorporates internal tank bracing (BST design), and is mounted on full-width bearers for maximum structural stability. The outer tank serves as a protective barrier, offering secondary containment in the unlikely event of inner tank failure.

Compliance

All Atlantis Generator Bulk Tanks are built in accordance with BS799 Part 5 with required internal tank bracing. Each tank incorporates a bunded outer shell with a minimum 110% capacity, ensuring full compliance with environmental safety standards.
