2023 at Atlantis Tanks

Is it just us or is time speeding up?

It certainly doesn’t feel like an entire 12 months has passed by since we wrote our Christmas 2022 round-up… but, nonetheless, here we are heading into a whole new year with one of the busiest years ever under our belt…

Out and about

The last year has seen many positive changes at Atlantis Tanks. We like to think that we move with the times and we’re reactive to changes in the market. We listen carefully to what our customers tell us and we’re always looking for new solutions. That’s why we’ve put a priority on attending some of the UK’s biggest industry events this year, including Cereals, Plantworx and InstallerSHOW, where we got to rub shoulders with some of the sector’s thought-leaders and innovators.

Of course, the highlight for our team at these events is always meeting up with many of you! And we got to meet lots of new customers new as a bonus!

Moving with the times

Just like the world we live in, our industry is always changing. This year has seen us put extra work into finding the very best rainwater harvesting equipment for our installers in response to their customers’ increasing demand and the growing importance of preserving our precious water supplies. We’ve also focused on finding storage and transfer solutions for HVO fuel, future-proofing your fuel storage solutions for the years ahead.

Your feedback also highlighted a need for fuel storage tanks with even bigger capacities – so we’ve been working on that too.

Highlighted project

50,000 litre steel tank – StoraFUEL

Earlier in 2023, our customer, A G Wright & Son (Farms), ordered a 50,000 litre duel-pump static fuel storage tank from our StoraFUEL range, custom-fitted with 140 lpm pumps, 2 x hose reels and 1 x fuel.

This was an exciting job for the Atlantis Tanks team who rose to the challenge magnificently. A special thanks to Philip Gaskin for his top quality work on this project.

Rutland Water team day

Another memorable highlight of the year came in September when we held a team day at Rutland Water for the staff from all our depots. It was great for everyone to get to know each other better.

As well as doing ‘business things’ we managed to have some fun too. The mini golf and boat cruise proved to be a big hit and, something that will go down in history, is the building of the legendary spaghetti tower. We’re planning to have another team day in 2024 and we’re sure it will be just as productive… and just as much fun.

Sales success

With special thanks to…

We think that it’s fitting to end this quick round-up of 2023 with a special mention to all our staff and all our customers.

As each year passes, we become more and more aware that the people in our team are the ones who make Atlantis legendary. So many of them have achieved both personal and professional goals over the last year – thank you very much to you all for your hard work.

And finally, a word to our customers: thank you for your continuing support over the years. We know that 2023 hasn’t been an easy year for many businesses and we appreciate you sticking with us. We promise to do our best for you in the new year. Now go and put your feet up, pour a drink and we’ll see you in January.
